Buckingham - 12 April, 2007: Vitalograph has expanded its desktop spirometry range with the launch of the new Vitalograph ALPHA. This simple and affordable all-in-one desktop unit provides a fast, accurate and cost effective spirometry solution.

Featuring the highly accurate Fleisch pneumotachograph, the Vitalograph ALPHA measures VC, FVC, FEV1, FEV1%, PEF and FEF 25-75. Information is presented in an easy-to-read format on a clear, bright colour screen. Useful for bronchodilator response testing, multiple pre-tests can be stored for subsequent post-testing. Linking to any PC via USB, the Vitalograph ALPHA offers a range of additional features including removable memory card slot, integrated battery and mains power options, report generation software, real time clock, easy to clean flowhead and a fast, quiet printer that prints 140 tests per roll.
