Vitalograph and Kinneir Dufort win Design Award

The prestigious DBA design awards, held in the Hurlingham Club in London on 4th November 2008, saw world-leading respiratory device manufacturer Vitalograph and Bristol-based design consultancy Kinneir Dufort win an award for a new range of Vitalograph respiratory devices. The range includes the copd-6 COPD screeners, and asma-1 asthma monitors, all of which have been warmly received by medical professionals and have proven highly successful for Vitalograph. These innovative devices combine good looks and exceptional performance with ease of use and low ownership costs.

At the heart of the innovation team were design engineer Enda Kelly from Vitalograph and Kinneir Dufort‘s Chris Althorpe. Both were highly commended by the directors of both partners, "We are delighted at their ideas, the speed of implementation and the attention to detail and, in particular, the creativity that these two people brought to the project.
